Dr. James Munyao Kingoo is a distinguished microbiologist and public health researcher with extensive expertise in molecular biology, HIV/AIDS treatment, and sexual and reproductive health. As the Executive Director of the African Academy of Engineering, he brings a wealth of experience in research coordination, laboratory management, and public health advocacy.
With a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Dr. Kingoo has led numerous high-impact studies on HIV treatment failure, drug resistance, and gender-based violence. His leadership in academia and research institutions, coupled with his dedication to evidence-based policymaking, positions him as a driving force in advancing scientific and technological innovation in Africa.
